National Cadet Corps

The National Cadet Corps is a responsive, learning and continuously evolving organization. National Cadet Corps is one of biggest youth forum which brings the vibrant students together and guide them in a proper direction so that they can play a constructive role in the development of the country. With its motto of “Unity and Discipline”, the NCC has become instrumental in moulding character and imparting in our students, a dynamic outlook during their university education.

The mission and vision of our NCC wing is to create awareness among the student community regarding its importance towards nation building.

Raksha Shakti University National Cadet Corps unit is devoted to train the cadets so that they become a responsible citizen of the country. Raksha Shakti University has two battalions which is 1 Gujarat Girls battalion and 1 Gujarat Arty Bty open for female and male students which is under NCC Gujarat Dadra Nagar Haveli Daman and Diu Directorate.

It encourages cadets to have a sense of patriotic commitment, to contribute to national development, respect for diversities in religion, language, culture, ethnicity, life style and habitat. To instill sense of national unity, social cohesion, ability to participate in community development and other social programmes. It also inculcates the values of honesty, truthfulness, self-sacrifice, perseverance and hard work. It exposes cadets to a regimented way of life which is essential for inculcating the values of discipline, dutifulness, punctuality, orderliness, smartness, respect for rightful authority, good and correct work ethos and self-confidence. The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities, with a distinct emphasis on Social Services. Besides Military Training, they have an opportunity for adventurous activities which give them wide horizon and keep them morally and mentally fit so that they become a well disciplined members of the society. The NCC provides a conducive environment to motivate cadets to join the armed forces.
