One day National Symposium on “Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security Research”
One day National Level Symposium on “Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security Research” was organized by Institute of Research and Development at Raksha Shakti University, Lavad, Gandhinagar.
The event was inaugurated by Professor (Dr.) Bimal Patel. Professor (Dr.) Priyanka Sharma, Director of Research and Development and Shree. Pavan Soni welcomed experts.
Mr. Rakshit Tandon, Cyber security Expert, Consultant- Internet and Mobile Association of India, and former Head of Department, GEC Gandhinagar, Professor Dr. Budhadev, Artificial Intelligence (AI) expert were the key note speakers facilitating the symposium.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Archana Gondalia and Ms. Richa Sharma, Asst. Professor, School of ICT, Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. More than 60 participants across different states of Industry and academics attended the symposium.
Mr. Rakshit Tandon discussed on cyber security in areas such as child pornography, cyber stalking, cyberattacks like ransom ware and spywares, bugs and loopholes in usage of different mobile applications and e-wallets such as google pay, paytm, paypal, phonepe, mobikwik, etc. with real cybercrime cases came across them. He further shared his knowledge on the exploitation of personal and private data shared with mobile applications such as phone and calling history, allowing access to microphone recording, location tracking, front and rear camera access and lot more.
Professor (Dr.) Budhadev focused on current trends of AI, benefits and loopholes of AI, Utilization of AI in cyber security domains, and sharing their vast knowledge on areas where AI can be utilized. He emphasized the usage of AI in image and voice processing domain and their pros and cons.
